And after some remediation, they might get some value out of the land, but even if they don't they will have spent a small amount of money (for a govt. not for me) and avoided a lot of potential litigation, unhappy people and stress. Actually its the sort of 'can do' solution that would have gone down well if it had been done earlier and more extensively in ChCh, I suspect.VMCnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830084253401570472.post-24932568680447927952014-08-25T14:13:51.590+12:002014-08-25T14:13:51.590+12:00There could be, but I haven't seen it. My numbers ought be right for houses at the margin; there could be riskier ones in that portfolio where the numbers line up a bit better.Eric Cramptonhttp://offsettingbehaviour.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830084253401570472.post-87467304912263492892014-08-25T13:02:57.607+12:002014-08-25T13:02:57.607+12:00Are there any more specific figures on the risks a...Are there any more specific figures on the risks assigned to properties? ≥ 10,000 still seems seriously vague.<br />I would also be surprised if people spend, on average, more than 75% of their time actually at home.Bennoreply@blogger.com
