- The National Post is in financial trouble. Shame - it was glorious when the paper launched.
- Remember "United Breaks Guitars"? The PR disaster for United that reportedly knocked $180 million off the airline's capitalisation? (no I don't take that number too seriously). Well, United just went and lost the guy's luggage. While he was on the way to a conference to give a keynote talk on customer service.
- New Zealand to have a referendum on repealing MMP; Poll shows about half of all voters want to ditch the system. iPredict says 53% chance we vote to not retain MMP, 45% chance we vote to retain, 2% chance the vote is cancelled.
- And NZ finally has a half-decent "buy and download", DRM-free album site: bandit.fm. They also have a subscription-based "listen to anything but save nothing" service. So finally bought some Rammstein...excellent....
