Trump's speech in which he talked about building a wall in Colorado hasn't seemed sufficient evidence of his madness for anyone to do anything about it as yet though.

- Cawley, Frisvold and Jones find that SSB taxes don't do much, resulting in consumption reductions on the order of five calories per day.
- Occupational licensing results in welfare losses: increased wages for licensed workers are offset by reduced employment, and consumers bear some incidence. Again, wouldn't it be nice if the Commerce Commission could look at the anticompetitive effects of these licensing regimes here?
