A selection of the worthies in the weekly closing of the browser tabs:

• Mike Reddell on the RBNZ and housing collapses: the RBNZ Bulletin missed a few important things when looking at the causes of housing crashes - most notably, that regulation-induced near-vertical supply curves exacerbate price movements when demand shifts. RBNZ has complained before, though, about how housing prices were making it harder for them to run inflation targeting, and I think they'd then pointed to land use restrictions.
• Reddell on Anderton's legacy. How should we think about a nice and decent politician whose ideas, if acted upon, would have been overwhelmingly for the worse?
